Annual Giving 2026

Welcome to our Annual Giving Season for 2026!

Our Annual Stewardship Campaign is a chance to reflect on the many ways that we are connected to God, to each other and to our church community. Our theme this year focuses on the stories we tell and the ways we are called to share our words, our actions, our love, and our joy with the world. This year, with all that has been going on in the news, in our homes, schools and offices, and ever-shifting economic forecasts, the one constant has been God’s love and the connections we have formed here at St. John’s.

Our stories bring us together. Each of us has a story to tell, a reason why we found this congregation and continue to participate in the shared life of St. John’s. Each of us has dreams, ambitions, and great ideas, just as each of us has struggles and moments of difficulty. One of the parts of our Good News is that we can bring our whole selves, all our story, to this place and to each other, and receive the acceptance, comfort, support, encouragement, and praise that we need.

We will be hearing several stories in our campaign this year from people of all ages and stages of life. Each of them focuses on the inspiration they receive from God and how their soul transforms those inspirations into their spiritual practices and faith journey. This same process happens in you as you seek ways to share your gifts from the inspiration and blessing you have been given.

Every story matters, just as every commitment matters. The strength of the community is in our collective giving. We are blessed to have a healthy investment portfolio, but we want to get closer each year to living on what we are given by all of us in the community. Remember we could not be an example of love and compassion in our community without your many and various gifts.

In the coming weeks, you will receive a pledge card. Please return it by November 30th, the First Sunday of Advent, which marks both a new year in the church and the beginning of our journey to prepare for the birth of Jesus. On that day, we will include all pledges in the offering plate along with the Sunday offering, and lift them up for God’s blessing.

So that we are equipped for all that God has in store for St. John’s, we need you and want you to be a part of our life together!  I pray you will join me, and my husband Kirk, in prayerfully making an abundant annual financial commitment for 2026.

Please click here for the online giving card. If you regularly make a financial offering, consider making a larger commitment. If you give, but have never turned in a pledge card so we know that we can count on you, please consider doing so. If you are new to making a financial commitment to a church community, I pray you take a step this year and join us as stewards of St. John’s.

Tell out, my soul! The Greatness of the Lord!
