Synesthesia! The Musical and Visual art of Hong-Yu Hsien
Organ recital, featuring works of Bach, Langlais and Nico Muhly, and art exhibit
Hong-Yu Hsien is a rising senior in the Juilliard Pre-College Division and Pierrepont School in Westport, CT. Winner of the 2026 L. Cameron Johnson Memorial Organ Competition for High School Students, he has performed at Juilliard’s Paul Hall and was selected to participate in the Curtis Institute of Music Summer Organ Intensive. Beyond music, he is also an accomplished visual artist, pursuing both disciplines with equal passion. Hong-Yu is also the founder of 88 Keyboard China Concert Project, a nonprofit aiming to deliver 88 interactive concerts to underprivileged students in rural China.

Ring in the New Year with glorious music and delicious food! Based on the success of our sold-out New Year’s Day concerts in 2025 and 2026, we’re expanding the festivities to New Year’s Eve as well! Both events will feature J. S. Bach’s most famous orchestral works: All six Brandenburg Concertos – performed in their entirety. Matthew Lewis leads from the harpsichord a group of top New York virtuosi in these celebratory pieces. Each event includes a festive reception, with a smorgasbord of savory delights and a gala dessert buffet, champagne, fresh fruit juices and mocktails. Reserve your tickets early!

In 2027, the musical world marks the bicentennial of Franz Schubert’s two monumental piano trios, both composed in 1827 during the final, extraordinarily creative year of his life. Trio Raconteur celebrates this milestone with a rare performance of both masterpieces in a single afternoon, offering audiences the opportunity to experience the complete culmination of Schubert’s writing for piano trio.
Founded in 2019, Trio Raconteur brings together three distinguished artists whose shared passion for chamber music and the rich piano trio repertoire inspired the ensemble’s formation. The New York-based trio features multi-Grammy award-winning violinist Amy Schroeder, Grammy award-winning cellist Felix Umansky, and world-renowned pianist Yalin Chi.
