The secular definition found in the dictionary states that stewardship is “the job of supervising or taking care of something, such as an organization or property.” The Episcopal Church calls it “the joyful act (of giving) for the sake of God’s world.” Our stewardship committee is focusing on stewardship as the act of caring – for our parish, for one another, for our community and for our planet. It’s what we are called to do daily as Christians.
