Sundays at 10:00 am: LIVE worship service via Zoom
Join us on Zoom Sunday mornings for our live online worship service. To prepare for the service, please:
- Make sure you have downloaded the Zoom app (see below for more info).
- To log into the service, use this link. The password to enter our Sunday service is Larchmont’s 5-digit zip code.
- Plan to arrive by 9:45 am to make sure you can get into the service.
- Because Zoom caps the number of participants at 100, we ask that attendees in the same household connect on the same device whenever possible. We will attempt to record the service so the link can be posted.

- Remember to keep your sense of humor and an open mind as we try something new together. Hiccups are to be expected, so we thank you in advance for your patience and positive attitude!
- After the service, please plan to stay for our virtual coffee hour! It’s a great chance to catch up a little with the community.

Downloading Zoom
Zoom is a video-conferencing platform that allows people to connect with audio and video via any device that has the internet (pc, laptop, cell phone, tablet, ipad, etc.). As you might imagine, the number of businesses and ordinary people using Zoom to connect has increased dramatically in the past few months, and St. John’s is no exception. Once you use it, you will see how beneficial this technology can be in keeping us connected. Try it out with us! Here’s how:
• If you haven’t already done so, download the Zoom app now. Go to your App Store or Google Play Store and in the search area, type in “Zoom Cloud Meetings” and you should see an application with a blue video camera symbol and the subtext “Meet Happy”. That’s the one you want, not any other.
• If you already have Zoom, make sure you upgrade to Version 5.0 before May 30th.
• Click on the Zoom link provided to join the meeting or prayer service you are interested in. When you do, it will automatically activate your downloaded Zoom app and open it for you.
• It will ask you if you want to join audio – click on Join Audio from Computer (or Device). This will enable you to hear others and others to hear you.
