
Donations will be accepted Sunday, November 9, noon-4 pm and Monday – Thursday, November 10 – 13, 9:00 am – 5 pm. Special evening hours: Wednesday, November 12, 6 – 8 pm. (Exceptions noted below.) Note: If no one is there to receive your donations, please leave them in the hallway outside the Parish Hall.
- Collectibles: Some desirable items from past years have included anything signed Tiffany, sterling silver and festive crystal. If you have a special item to donate, please contact Ellen Martin (ellenwmartin@gmail.com), Pat Melrose (dpsjcmel@aol.com) or Mary Conway (mary.conway@davispolk.com).
- Holiday Home: We are looking for new/nearly-new better quality, special Christmas ornaments/decorations, table-ware, and other decorative holiday pieces such as platters, champagne glasses, vases, or silver serving pieces. - Jewelry: Do you have any jewelry you’re no longer using? We’ll gladly find it a new home! If you have any very special items, please make drop-off arrangements with Kelly Chubet (kellychubet@gmail.com) or Tiffany Andrade (tiffy1102@msn.com). All other items can be dropped off during donation week.
- Luxury Accessories: That beautiful Hermes scarf that you just don’t wear or a handbag from a designer like Chanel, Coach or Marc Jacobs will definitely have a happy new home! Some items might be included in the silent auction while others will be appropriately priced as part of the Bazaar. If you have any very special items, please make drop-off arrangements with Kelly Chubet (kellychubet@gmail.com) or Tiffany Andrade (tiffy1102@msn.com). All other items can be dropped off during donation week.
- Children’s Toys and Books: We’re looking for children’s timeless treasures in new or like-new condition. Toys might include doll houses, American Girl dolls, specialty train sets, Lego sets, Magnatiles and board games (with all their pieces!). We also welcome new or very lightly used children’s books, especially holiday books or collectible full series. Questions? Want to discuss an item before dropping off? Send us a description or photo! - Fancy Kids Clothes: That special blazer or dress with tons of frills that only make it out once a season for a special event will be cherished by a new family if you donate it to the Bazaar. - Sporting Goods: We are looking for donations in good condition please: larger items such as bikes, golf clubs, skis or snowboards. We would also like smaller gear, such as paddle/tennis rackets, hockey/lacrosse pads, helmets (sports and bike), skates, baseball bats and hockey/field hockey/lacrosse sticks. No clothing please. - Handcrafts: In the past, we’ve had knitwear, sewn and woven items, origami creations, gift tags, candles, ornaments, etc. If you have questions please contact Barbara Gessler (barbara.m.gessler@gmail.com).
- Delectable Treats: Prepare your favorite baked goods, holiday sweets, or other sweet or savory goodies for the Delectable Treats table. Drop off on Friday afternoon, November 14.
