Time & Talent: Ongoing Ministries

Junior Choir
Wednesdays 4:15-5:00pm and the first Sunday of the month, September through June
Target: Any and all St. John’s children 3rd grade to 8th grade are welcome.
The only requirement is a desire to sing! If a child is not sure or has any interest, they are welcome to come try any time.

Men’s Group
Saturdays, 8:00-9:00 am
Target: All men of St. John’s
Meet in the Parish Office, except 3rd Saturday when we meet for breakfast at the BLD Diner (2399 Boston Post Road, Larchmont)
Come as you are for an hour of informal fellowship over coffee. Weekly attendance not required.
Activity Lead: Paul Schwendener

Lectors (Scripture readers) for 8am and 10am liturgies
Target: Children (first Sunday) and Adults (every Sunday)
After appropriate training, lectors participate in liturgies by reading lessons from Scriptures.
Time Needed: Training: 30 minutes for children. 20 minutes for adults. Preparation during the week you are scheduled (usually not more often than once every 6 – 8 weeks).
Requirements: You will need a strong voice, clear diction, willingness to be trained, and a commitment to arriving 10 minutes prior to the liturgy.
